The typical work week is 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
On occasion overtime may be required but is the exception and not the rule.

Sr. Commodity Manager / Sourcing Engineer

Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for leading worldwide sourcing strategy development and deployment for a set of commodities across the LMS spend base. Works closely with supply chain leadership at LMS to deliver year over year improvements in material cost, quality, availability, and inventory.
Specific Job Duties:
- Design and implement commodity strategies to attain year over year material cost reduction (PPV/MPV), material quality/delivery improvements and inventory reduction targets using appropriate supply chain tools.
- Lead the following activities:
- Supplier Development – Work to develop new suppliers in the areas of Engineering and Quality to help deliver low cost and high-quality projects.
- Negotiations – Act as the lead negotiator with suppliers in specific commodities to deliver stated objectives.
- Strategic Sourcing – Lead the strategic sourcing process including RFQ development, quotation reviews, supplier/contract negotiations and supplier development. Lead sourcing meetings that include areas such as Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing etc. to reach consensus on sourcing.
- VA/VE – Work closely with preferred partners to manage productivity/cost down initiatives using various tools.
- Own the supplier relationship in the areas (commodities) of responsibility.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the world-class supply chain process to ensure that existing processes are targeted to attain excellence versus industry benchmarks.
- Model and promote LMS Leadership standards to create an environment that empowers people to achieve business goals.
Job Specification:
Required: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Materials Management or related field. International Sourcing Experience Required.
Experience / Skills:
- In-depth materials management expertise and a proven track record of achieving world-class service levels while significantly reducing inventory and cost.
- High-level negotiation skills. Competent at leading a negotiation. Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and project management skills. Experienced in purchasing and sourcing.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and specifically supply chain management systems is required.
- Understanding of supplier capabilities and the marketplace. International sourcing experience a must.
- Demonstrated experience and success working in a fast paced, matrixed environment satisfying multiple customers. Strategic planning/thinking skills, coupled with analytical and execution skills.
- Excellent Communication Skills – logical and organized.
- Written, Verbal, Listening, and Presentation
- Highly proficient in Microsoft applications: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with top executive and senior level management, both internally and externally.

Painter I

Entry level position that will be trained in all aspects of painting fasteners. Ability to transition to Painter II position in 3-6 months. Perform daily duties assigned by supervisors
Essential Duties:
- Safely handle and mix paint and thinner according to established procedures
- Ability to wear a respirator and work in a paint room environment
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Effectively and efficiently paint product per specification
Qualifications (Education and Experience)
- Prior experience in an industrial paint booth wearing a respirator while painting product preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and disciplines to follow procedures
- Must be willing to operate in a safe manner according to established procedures and regulatory guidelines

This position requires someone skilled and experienced in gas metal arc welding (MIG). Must be detail oriented and consistently produce quality products per the specifications. Must be able to effectively operate all equipment/tools associated with welding (i.e., welders, grinders, measuring tools, etc.). Must be able to work in a factory environment in varying temperatures along with the ability to work on your feet for the full shift. Must be able to lift and handle heavy objects throughout the shift. Must be a disciplined individual that is capable of working well with others. This position requires the utmost attention in operating in a safe manner and following all standard safety protocols and guidelines. Qualified applicants must be capable of passing a 2F fillet break test.
